Advocacy Day 2026

We invite you to join us for the Louisiana Mortgage Bankers Association’s Inaugural Mortgage Advocacy Day on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 in Baton Rouge!
This important event will bring together mortgage professionals from across Louisiana to engage with state leaders, learn about key legislative issues affecting our industry, and advocate for policies that support local affordability & homeownership.
Your participation will help ensure our industry has a strong and unified voice with Louisiana policymakers.

Registration
There is a limited number of tickets allocated for AMLA Members! The cost is $25 per person, which covers event logistics and lunch.
Once you confirm your attendance and receive a ticket through AMLA, you will receive a payment link from LMBA to complete your registration.
Event Schedule
9:30 AM – Program Begins
Speakers will include:
- Louisiana elected officials
- Louisiana Department of Insurance representatives
- Louisiana Mortgage Bankers Association leadership
- National Mortgage Bankers Association leadership
11:45 AM – Lunch
1:00 PM – Group Photo at the Capitol
1:15 PM – 4:00 PM – Capitol Visits
Participants will be organized into groups based on geographical location and which elected officials represent which districts to visit the Louisiana State Capitol.
