What’s the difference between General Membership and Associate Membership?
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP
- Mortgage Lenders whose principal business is comprised of one or more of the following: originating, underwriting, making and closing residential or commercial real estate mortgage loans.
Must be licensed by NMLS. - Banks, Savings Banks, Credit Unions
- Life Insurance Companies, which have an operating mortgage department Association Membership
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
- Attorneys, Accountants, Appraisers and other persons or business organizations acting as consultants or advisors to general members.
